Lunch: Keeping it Simple

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/oyAGsbkoa58   This is my lunch plate. The menu includes Adai and Spicy Peanut Chutney. Adai is a variation of dosa. Here is a recipe I follow. Ingredients 3/4 cup of rice 3/4 cup of mixed lentils (urad, chana, tuvar) salt pinch of asafoetida 3 dried red chillies Method: Soak 3/4 cups of rice, and 3/4 cup of mix lentils for a few hours. Grand coarsely with some salt,  dried red chillies, and asafoetida. Add the finely chopped onions to the batter. Heat a tava and pour a ladleful of batter and cook till it gets crispy. Serve with a dollop of butter and a side of any of your favorite chutney. Peanut Chutney Recipe 50 grams of roasted peanuts (if you have raw ones, roast them) Saute: 1 medium sized onion 1 medium sized tomato (sour variety) 4 green chillies 8-10 garlic salt to taste Once the onion, etc mix is cooled, add the roasted peanuts to this mix and grind it to a paste. Garnish with mustard and curry leaves. Ranga
